There are secrets that live deep within most of us, some we wish we could just release, others we tend to compact with smiles to hide... some of us have those which we will go to any lengths to avoid being revealed.

What about you?

Do you have a write lying around that has never been published? Would you like to have your chance out of 1000 to become published in a poetry/short story book? We would like to invite you to submit your finest Dark poem or very short story into this contest of DARK SECRETS.

Non-fiction or fiction, right or wrong... Whatever the Secret, if it is Dark take this, it is your opportunity to illuminate.

There are only a few stipulations.

One: No Erotica (must be able to view or submit without the 18 warning)

Two: In order to keep our market VAST (publishing purposes). Be cautious in your subject matter, Emo stories are great, as long as they are tasteful and not sending approval messages of cutting. The usage of extremely vulgar
language is immediate grounds for disqualifacation. Just use your best judgements, our publishing company can not sell to populations with a narrow market.

Three: Only serious contestants please

Four: No previously or soon to be published works allowed

Five: You must be a member of Poetic Infusion Society to ENTER and to VOTE~

Six: Any short stories submitted may not be more than one 6x9 page (350 words MAX), or it will be disqualified from the contest. (sorry)

KEEP IN MIND PLEASE... Stories can only be VERY short stories, here is the reason: our printing company suggests how many allowable words on an page.

WE NEED to keep it within the range as listed below:

For a 6x9 size book figure approximately 350 words per page.

Prizes

300 Dark Secret Poems or Short (350 words MAX) Stories will be chosen for book two. Stories cannot be more than one 6x9 page, 1,000 must be submitted for contest to be valid.
