I live in Jacksonville Florida. I am 56 years old. I wrote my first poem when I was 45 and I have not laid my pen down since. I only write Christian poetry that the Lord has dropped in my heart as I myself have had no training in literature. I have a self published book through Xulon Press called HIS HAMMOCK IN THE SHADE. One of my poems was chosen to be in the 2005 volume of TWILIGHT MUSINGS which is a collection of poems requested by The International Library of Poetry. All of this was made possible by the grace of God and nothing of myself as I only push HIS pen. I have the beginnings of two other Christian books in the works at this time. My heart's desire is to only write that which encourages people to lean on the Lord for whatever they need. Looking forward to chatting and learning from fellow writers.
