Confessions From A Smoky City

I am Danny Hill. Confessions From A Smoky City is my creation. Recently, I have developed the idea of basing my fiction around my local, working-class area of Stoke-On-Trent, England. The area was once a captain of the pottery industry, but has since declined. Back in the day, a feeling of optimism would occur when smoke filled the skies from the numerous kilns and potbanks. It was a sign, according to the residents of the city, that work was in the area.
