After leaving school in 1975 (with abysmal exam results in everything, including English language), I completed a five year apprenticeship as a Printer, producing books, magazines, brochures and all kinds of commercial print for over twenty five years. Following redundancy a few times, I became a Bus driver which I have now done for the last fifteen years, and actually enjoy the job most of the time! The annual short story competition held by my employer prompted me to start writing. I am now enjoying turning all kinds of plots in my mind to text on screen. My writing may not be to the standard of other writers here, but I hope to be posting a few stories which will hopefully hold the reader to the end!
