About MeHey Everyone! I'm Cindi Silva a poet, writer, citizen journalist, actvist. I love raising awareness through writing. There is so much to say! Especially now when people are discouraged, feeling erosion from what is happening in the world we live in. I'm not going to say it isn't bleak and that these aren't hard times we're living in, because things are bleak and these are very hard times we're living in. I will however, point out that beauty always surrounds us, the sun always shines for us, the ordinary becomes extraordinary if you look closely; and the miracle and genius that you are as I write about what is happening right now at this very interesting time in our history.
I was born into a blue collar, middle class family and until recently spent all of my life middle class. Recently I slipped down the ladder and am now living low income, getting an idea of how others have spent their whole lives. I'm planning on moving back up the ladder to middle class. I see the silver lining in every cloud; to me the glass always appears half full. My recent fall from middle class gives me much new material to write about as I experience firsthand the everyday struggles and strife that comes with poverty. When times are tough and you are feeling the erosion of the catastrophe of every day living keep in mind; You have more strength than you will ever realize; I know this to be true. Keep the faith. Never give up things could improve in a heartbeat if only you stuck it out a little bit longer. Peace, Cindi Silva I have just completed a poetry book for Kindle - Cancer Poetry. Once I get the hang of formatting for Kindle I have a couple of other books to download too.
