I am 39 years old. For the past 25 years I have been a "just for me" writer (except when I helped my daughter submit written material in her English class heehee). I've have always been shy about having anyone view or review any work of mine. I'm not a person that likes to judge or be judged, and for some reason I had it in my head that if someone were to dislike an article/story that I've written then they more or less disliked me. I am FINALLY passed that point in my life.

For the past few weeks I've decided to see what is on the Web and just start taking chances. What can someone do, ban me from the Internet if they disagree or dislike the way I write?
What is great is I had no idea there were so many sites available to get your work noticed, or for that matter "un-noticed." (I know that's not a word, but it's what I chose to use at this moment in time LOL).

I haven't set myself in any particular genre yet. I usually just write what comes to mind and pray that it goes far!
