Party of One / Joseph Dunphy

Also known as Joseph Dunphy. Long term unemployed courtesy, in large part, of a management fad, getting around and enjoying life as well as possible, on an unreasonably limited budget. Will be reviewing inexpensive restaurants, most of them in Chicago, thrift stores, going to festivals (while trying not to think about the line "bread and circuses" too much), and taking a lot of photos.

Tolerate consumer advocacy as a subject, have enough sense to see real value in it, but never have much fun writing about it. More interested in the arts and sciences, so expect to hear about museums more than you would expect, and art fairs and theatrical events until long after you beg me to stop.

I will be posting short fiction and observational pieces.
