Charu Charms

My real name is Charuta Pradeep, but because, as you can see, it is a very weird name, you can call me Charu. I'm a 16 year old who loves reading as well as writing. I've always wanted to pursue a career in literature, but as my parents seem to be more interested in making their very "intelligent" daughter a DOCTOR, I guess my dreams have to be kept aside for a while. I am more inclined towards poetry... and I believe nothing can get your feelings and expressions across to people better than poetry, with of course, an exception of music. I love music too, but because I can't compose a piece of it to save my life, I prefer to keep my writings as mere poems. My family is not very encouraging to me in this writing business, so my only way out is my English teacher at school and the totally awesome WritersCafe.org!
One of my favourite poems is this, that touched my heart at the deepest depths in just two little lines...

HE first deceased; she for a little tried
