About MeDr.Eileen A. Schweickert grew up a military brat, studied at the Manoa campus of the University of Hawaii, and went to medical school in California. Dr. Schweickert taught the next generation of doctors, climbed the ladder of academia and sat on the Board of Directors of the American Medical Womens Association. Later, she settled into being the small town doctor she always wanted to be. But her rewarding career in family medicine in Northern Michigan was cut short due to a nasty disease called Multiple Sclerosis.
Sensing that change was necessary to regain mental and physical health, she and her husband bought a plot of land to begin their retirement dream earlyhobby ranching bucking bulls.
