I am the first-born of five children. We grew up without a TV in our home…You ask, what did we do? We read! Of course, why not? Our imaginations ran wild…Mine ran more wild than the others and I started writing. Nothing I ever wrote saw an ending, I was young, I didn’t know how to plot! I would get sick of it and put it to the side.

Now I am 27, and have three children. I am once again writing! This time with the knowledge of how to create characters, having conflict, a plot, settings, yadda, yadda, yadda… More life experience maybe? Probably.

Why Write?

Because it is a release, an escape, a way to create my perfect world that I wish existed. Even when I know it is not perfect in the books it always works out in the end. In what realm or world does that ever happen? None, not one, not ever. Like everyone else, I have had disappointments in life. Not one experience can I look back and think, I really enjoyed that problem!

I live in my characters. They are my babies! I love them and nurture them, I bring them up to be what I want them to be. Something you can not do in life, you can do in the world of fantasy! It is a wonderful feeling.

Sometimes I dream about my characters and wake up thinking; “What the hell?” It may sound strange to someone who does not write but for me it is love, it is passion, that is why I write.
