I am a writer on my local history here in the UK.

I have written as a hobby for years, but only the past year or so have taken to it seriously, i.e. to try and make money from it.

I am published in local magazines and papers, I have a couple of articles on a solo travel website and have various blogs etc. (I know don't we all!)
I also write science fiction and fantasy and have several projects that I am trying to get off the ground and published either online or on paper!

My main project at the moment is my vampire story, (I know but I did start it before it became fashionable!) It has changed view points and even countries in the past year, but am getting there.

The only drawback is that I have depression which does hold me back as it does many people, but we try to learn to live with it. I am also an advocate for depression and try to get the word out to people that it is not taboo and it is not to be shushed or not talked about. It is an illness like any other that needs to be looked into and understood.
