About Me
I have many years of experience in public relations, marketing, and sales at Technology Futures, Inc. and in the entertainment industry. A couple of years ago my father, Dr. John H. Vanston, decided to write a book using his long experience in finding and profiting from emerging trends to benefit others. I decided to work with him on it to bring a strong marketing element to it, particularly in the media communications and social media areas. As his style is more academic, I also wanted to bring a more relaxed, friendly style to the book.
The resulting book, MINITRENDS, talks about finding and profiting from emerging trends that are going to become important in 2-5 years—we call them Minitrends. We have won several awards and received excellent feedback from many readers.
