I am a survivor. I have survived Apartheid, Aids, Abuse, Addictions, Gay Guilt, numerous disasterous relationships and Bipolar Disorder. Now if I can just get over my Survivor Guilt I will be just fine!

I understand the power of words. They have been my closest friends and, at times, my worst enemies.
Theє words 'GAY', 'MALE', 'WHITE', 'SPIRITUAL' and 'POET' do not describe me. I am all of these things - and so much more. I cannot sum myself up by saying who I love and what I do. I can only use the words of God and Gloria Gaynor; 'I am who / what I am'.
