Keeper

When it comes to writing, I write such a wide variety of things, I'm pretty much a jack-of-all-trades in writing. I hope to be able to make some new friends here, and I'm working on trying to get a writers' group started up in the local area around where I live. If you're in the Marshall County or surrounding areas, and are interested in getting a group started, please contact me and let me know. This would be particularly fun for NaNoWriMo. ;-)

A lot of my writing is influenced by the three finest gents that I ever had the pleasure of reading their works: Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, and Douglas Adams. I tend towards urban fantasy, dark fantasy and horror more than any other genre. I decided to remove the writings I had on here already. This was a personal decision based on the fact that I no longer felt those writings were necessary.

I've been around on the internet for years, under a wide array of pen names, and eventually I settled into my groove with Keeper, though I'm also known as Jackalibis and Sab Saiti. So, here I am after discovering this place through someone else's website, and trying to determine if I'll be able to ever wake up enough to actually write anything new to post online.

I am twenty-three, married, and mother to a five-year-old. I am an ordained minister, and I care for a couple of wards whom I am responsible for their spiritual growth. I am a housemother, caring for my son and wards (when they're here -- they don't live with us, but they are here often enough that sometimes they might as well live here).

Aside from that, I am an avid reader and I enjoy playing in and/or running tabletop (not online!) roleplaying games, especially those of the storyteller adventuring system from White Wolf Publishing. My favorite games are the new World of Darkness, Changeling: The Lost, Scion: Hero/Demigod/God, and Exalted 2nd Edition. I also enjoy performing music, designing webpages and graphics, watching anime and reading manga, and much more.
