Oz

I'm back.

I've been gone for a long time...but in my absence I've begun a novel. Dark comedy, satire, existentialism, the works. Let me know what you think.


My name is Oz. I appreciate the dark, the weird, the unexplained, the esoteric, and anything abnormal. Normal is boring and I hate being bored.



I'm a little eccentric.



My father is a chain smoking playwright who gave me a single piece of advice for writing:

"Tell a story."

He also offered a single pirce of advice for life:

"Well son, life's a b***h."

Perhaps it's more of a statement than advice, but it rings true in my life every day. Thanks dad.


I enjoy writing and being a writer. We are a special breed. We see the world differently. We abalyze things differently. More importantly, we express things differently. Those abilities set us apart from others. That is why I am Oz. I am a mere man hiding behind something much bigger...the writer.


Oh! I happen to know I'm not the only one fed up with this so...to all the people who give half-assed reviews or don't even review my work at all after I've read yours countless times...congratulations, you get a big middle finger from me. You know who you are.
