I'm nearly finished with Stolen Lives. Robert Whitney has just visited his wife and daughter's grave for the first time since their deaths. I must say, this was a very emotional scene. You really captured the moment here.
This book has been a great read. I'll be a fan for life. I like how you handle the Christian message with delicacy. You do not over do it like so many other Christian novelists do. There's nothing wrong with preaching, but I just don't believe that fiction is the place to do it. There's plenty of room for that in non-fiction. The same goes for novels that are laced with political expression. I particularly like Frank Peritti and Ted Dekker's "House." I think they did a splendid job in this one with bringing out the spiritual elements.
Mr. Reaves, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to your next novel.
