My name is Brian. I was born in a very small town known as Ashland in the state of Alabama. You have probably never heard of it, that's just how small it is. Anyways...I love many things. I love art, poetry, writing, music, photography, reading, etc. When I write it's mainly poetry. I've written several over the years. I deal with different subjects. Mainly love and loss. I love writing my feelings out because that tends to turn into poetry or it ends up running into some sort of advice column for others based on my personal experience. Either way I hope someone can read it and take something from it. That's why I love writing so much. It truly has the power to effect people in so many ways. I've read several poems by Lord Byron, Robert Frost, Elizabeth Barrett Browning and so on that has truly impacted me and made a change of some kind. It's always been my dream and a major goal to get a book of my poetry published and have a novel written to also be published.
