I used writing as a tool to help me through many things from an early point in my life. My great-grandmother, who basically raised me, was a phenomenal writer and she loved it. She showed me when I was very young what a beautiful thing it was to be able to escape into another world through writing. I have been writing since, ad I wouldn't give it up for anything. Writing keeps me sane.
