Armon A. Campbell

I was born and raised in Houston Texas. I graduated from Alvin High School in 1992. Didn't do much after that really, just worked and played. I got married in 1999, and the next year we had my son. In 2001 I joined the Navy, yea just in time for 9/11. I was fortunate and was stationed in Corpus Christi where I specialized in Mine Warfare. While in Corpus my second child was born, my daughter in 2002. After the Navy I moved my family back home to Houston. Earlier this year my wife decided she really didn't want the married/family life and moved out. I am now a single father of a 4 year old daughter, and a 6 year old son. They are my life. I'm working hard to take care of them, and I know in my heart we'll be just fine. I've been writing poetry for many years. For a long time they were "dark" as my Mom likes to say. But then as now I just write what I feel.
