About Me

I am a 25-year-old girl who teaches to live but lives to write. Currently I am in grad school, working on my MAT and teaching English as a Second Language part-time. My goals for the future are: 1) get my PhD, 2) work in international ministry, 3) be a published author.

I love cherries, chicken, cheese, chocolate, and chai latte - and under the right conditions, I even like them all together! I like to travel, cross-stitch, study languages, read, watch movies, color, listen to live music, and spend time with friends at the local coffee shop. My favorite times are spent talking with people who are from a culture and country other than my own.

Did I mention I am in a wheelchair? I have Spinal Muscular Atrophy (look it up), and am in a constant state of struggle/surrender between my independent spirit and my dependent body. All my hope, joy and peace come from the Lord, who gives me a true reason to get out of bed every morning with a smile. My writing can't help but be influenced by my weakness in contrast with His strength... my helplessness compared to His grace.

Oh, "Tea Time"--I'll read it right away. As for my work, I'm mostly a short story-writer, although I do write a poem from time to time. I'll send you a RR for one of my very short, serious short stories right now. (Some of my work is meant to be humorous) Sam

Hello young lady Chandler. I hope you don't mind my calling you "young," since I'm 60. Thank you very much for the friend request. I shall try to be a good one. I remember reading something of yours recently, but I don't recall what it was right now. Your list of works is impressive. If there is something you's especially like for me to read, please don't hesitate to send me a RR. I'm usually "Johnny on the spot"," and will comply in short order. Sam

I am finely getting around to saying that I would like to express my gratitude to you for stopping by to read The Garden. If I already have said thanks oh, well. And if I did not, it meant a lot to me, as did your review, again thanks for your kind words and thoughts.

The truth within your consciousness is like the horizon that recedes before you. As you journey towards your inner quest in the direction of the leading edge of your belief acceptance. And your knowledge and understanding of the prevailing path grows, the next ascending possibility will always beckon you. For wisdom brings together within the truth of your existence, your souls essence, in which is attained by your own experience. Pursue your goal of achieving the truth within your reality of consciousness, in the most direct manner. The paradox is of course, is that you are both the voyager and the pathway; the treasure that you seek is undeveloped within you and has always been and always will be. It has not been hidden from you, you have hide from it, so wake it up, face it, accept it, than use it, by becoming it.
