Forlorn Dreamer

Almost all of my writing is done spontaneously, I sit, I write, I post. I don't spend a lot of time editing and rereading my own work, it comes from a deep dark place inside of me and I don't like spending too much time there. I write for me, I share it for me, I hope you like it, but at the end of the day, I'm here for me. I have no set "style", as a teenager I would fill notebooks that should have had schoolwork in them with my own poetry, song lyrics, doodles, and other such nonsense. Writing is a way for me to escape, putting my thoughts onto paper takes some of the pressure off that just builds and builds over time. Sharing my work is scary, but hey, one thing I've learned on this wild ride is that Life is scary....sometimes you just have to close your eyes, spread your arms, and jump.
