About Me

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Jesus the Christ

I am Brenden Taylor.

I hope you like what you find here.

I'm always behind on Requests, so please don't ask me to read anything unless you're willing to wait for me to do so.

Along those lines, I read and review the shorter things first...but for real though.

And something I cannot stand is overuse, misuse, and abuse of metaphor...just saying.

Also, not a fan of colored fonts or pictures in the poems. Just black and white text for me.

Hopefully we can all meet up one day.

Until then...keep an open mind.

-------|===|-------

P.S. I only review those pieces that move me in some way.

I also believe that by posting any work at all in an online aggregator, we are all seeking each other's advice on how to better our writing skills.

So if I say something in my review that seems off-color and is initially offensive, please hit me up, and I'll try my best to explain myself. It's never my intention to cut down, only to build up.

There's an old saying: "as iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens another man."

Let's sharpen each other.

Thank you so much for the review, and for noticing my terrible lack of spell check. :P

I'm wondering why there's a shortage of memoirs on this site. It seems like there'd be a never-ending well that I could just draw from, but so far, it's been quite the opposite.
