A short story that I recently started writing.

...My biggest fear, written for a contest...

Hans was a knight. Jane, a common maid. He was a hero. She was invisible. Their love? Forbidden.

"Do I take thy breath away, milady?"

Sir John Fenwick had been a hero in his time, more to Jane than to anyone.

You miss him, do you not?

He goes by the name of Hans. Sir Hans of Darthmuor.

If it were Gods will, he would have made you a bloody man!

"I will search the Earth for you, Jane... because my soul will not rest until I have spoken."
