Well what about this instance, If we left housing our poor up to the market, where they did receive tax cuts for renting substantially less to families that could not afford housing. The realiters or land lords would put poorer families in one section and the rich in another so that they could raise property value and charge more in for their housing in certain areas. Now think about the social status of these poorer families, the poor children would be more subject to crime, and wouldn't have other children as examples. This could even happen if schooling were in the market. All the poor children would be forced to go into the crappier cheaper schools. The total free market would put ppl in even more disadvantage spot.
Lol this conversation has gotten so complex that I'm not even sure how to respond, or to which aspect =)
Have you ever read any of Milton Friedman's books? I think you'd agree a lot with him. I had to read one in college last month called Capitalism and Freedom.
I feel like your saying we should just stop all government programs though... is that what your saying? I mean.. is there really a reasonable solution to getting out of debt anyways?
