I'm an English major and aspiring writer out of Northern California. Besides writing, I like reading, learning, nature, fitness, drinking, and exploring the experiences in this world I've never had.

My experience of the world has thusfar been limited to California and the Pacific Northwest; however, after college, this will change dramatically. I plan to experience all that I can in this world, and I hope I can write well enough to transcribe the wonders of it onto paper.

I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I admire those who think outside the box and go against the grain, people who disregard those rigid rules of society and live life in a way that makes them truly happy. This is the person I strive to be.

I believe in honor, respect, courage, friendship, and above all, love. I believe that it is the force that binds us together. My only evidence of this is that I've never felt an emotion more powerful or influencial.

On my writing: As someone who lives and breathes the written word, I am open to exploring it in all shapes, sizes, and configurations. So, what you encounter on my page will more than likely be eclectic, to say the least. I've not yet nestled into one particular style of poetry or prose, and I like it that way. Some of my writing is abrasive and not for youngsters; I have indicated such where appropriate. Other stuff is bubbly enough to make even the children puke. That's just how I roll; wouldn't have it any other way. I also love finding a powerful visual to go with my piece, to give readers a general idea of the "feel" I was going for; I usually find them on www.deviantart.com.
