Jimi Hendrix once said, "The story of life is quicker than the blink of an eye. The story of love is hello, goodbye." Can this be true? Are all the greatest stories so fleeting? I believe so. I believe that brevity is the soul of wit. I also believe that every star you'll ever remember didn't slowly fade away but flashed brilliantly for one brief moment, branding it's story into your mind before burning to death in the fires of its own intensity.

The goal of writing then, is to capture that moment, that story, and to immortalize it in words for all those who weren't there, who were sleeping, or who had the misfortune to blink at the wrong time.

For those of you that didn't see it, don't worry...we are busy writing all these stories in our own words and, more often than not, a word is worth a thousand pictures...
