I'm Rob. I'm seeing some of you that I recognize from when I first joined up with my original account, before the purge, and I'm also meeting a slew of marvelous new people. I'm very grateful for it all...for everything

I'm on this site basically to figure out whether or not I have some talent, meet some new people, and read a lot of great work for free. (After subtracting the cable bill of course) I am as the man who attempts to light a candle at both ends, lots of things going on right now. I'll try to read as much as possible, also taking requests. Send me some d****t I'm not getting any!

I'm in NY. Occasionally I'll drop into a open mic or two. Once I find a steady venue I'll post it here. I'd love to see some local WC's there with me.

All I ask from anyone who reads any of my work is completely unfiltered, balls-to-the-wall honesty. I've grown up to become pretty tough over the past three years.

I'm venturing into a genre I don't really feel comfortable with (short stories) so this is where I need the most honesty. One cannot grow without pain. I started writing poetry when I turned thirteen and haven't been able to put down the pen since. I write stories because, well, I enjoy reading them...slowly I'm beginning to enjoy writing.

Enough about me though, why don't you tell me a little about yourself?
