About MeGreetings darling writers, allow me to explain a bit about myself. I started writing when I was 13 and fell in love with it. Over the years I have won 2 awards for it. I keep most of my old works posted on this website because occasionally I like to track my progress and see how much I have improved. I classify myself as gothic because I have always loved dark elegance and occasionally like to read or watch (as in a play or movie) a good tragedy here and there. I love musicals and plays and have seen a lot! I currently have 3 different memberships to local theaters and see other productions as often as I can. I try to review as much of friends work as well as read requests but being a busy adult, my ability to do so is limited. Thank you all for visiting my page, feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or just want to chat.

Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've brought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Because now my troubles are going to have troubles with me" -Dr. Seuss "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot. Nothing is going to get better. Its not." -Dr. Seuss "Step with great care and great tact, and remember, Life's a great balancing act" "Dr. Seuss "You can't deny laughter; when it comes, it plops down in your favorite chair and stays as long as it wants" -Stephen King "The place where you made your stand never mattered. Only that you were there and still on your feet" -Stephen King "An artist's only concern is to shoot for some kind of perfection and on their own terms, not anyone else's" - J.D Salinger "poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words" - Edgar Allan Poe "with me poetry has not been a purpose, but a passion - Edgar Allan Poe "The best thing to hold on to in life is each other" -Audrey Hepburn " Enemies are so stimulating" - Katherine Hepburn "The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel must be intolerably stupid" - Jane Austen "Butt plus chair equals writing" - Zac Brewer More random stuff about me Main Favorite authors: Zac brewer, and James Patterson. AND NOW A POEM I REALLY LIKE BY PAUL LAURENCE DUNBAR. We wear the mask that grins and lies, It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,-- This debt we pay to human guile; With torn and bleeding hearts we smile, And mouth with myriad subtleties. Why should the world be overwise, In counting all our tears and sighs? Nay, let them only see us, while We wear the mask. We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries To thee from tortured souls arise. We sing, but oh the clay is vile Beneath our feet, and long the mile; But let the world dream otherwise, We wear the mask! Comments
