You can call me Sam or Kat. Either works.

Writing has always been a major passion of mine. I usually prefer to write short stories and the like, but poems and songs come in my free time, most often accompanied by a restless mind. If you read my works, you'll probably notice that I like to touch on the dark side of things. That doesn't necessarily mean that I'm a dark person. I just enjoy writing about things such as the occult and intense emotions. Not all my writing is centered around that, however. When I'm in the mood, you'll see a good mixture of everything.

Music influences me to no end. I can listen to almost anything, but I mostly stick to rock in general with some jazz. In my short stories, I tend to reference various musicians quite often.

Any criticism is appreciated. I enjoy hearing about what I write.
