I recently found my notebooks from 2000-2003 where I wrote a lot of journal entries and poetry. I was between the ages of 14 and 17 at the time. Now at 26, it's kind of amazing to go back and read them, and transform myself right back to those feelings and emotions. I just started writing again, as of November 2011, after a very long hiatus. The last poem I wrote was at the beginning of a very significant relationship at age 18. I didn't write another word until 9 months after we ended it, nearly 8 years later at 26. I guess I've rediscovered myself.
