About Me
Alexandre grew up in a suburb of NY. Here, behind his childhood home, from his bedroom window and curtained only by a row of monumental Pines, loomed the fading remains of an historical cemetary whose presence he would come to think had had a profound impact on the direction of his life. The eternal roost of neglected great-grandmothers or forgotten solittaries, the grave yard had no visitors other than he, his father and brothers. Together, on empty sundays of chores and unrealized wishes (to go swimming at the lake, perhaps, or maybe even to spend a day at the amusement park) the four of them (or three, or sometimes just the two--father and son alone together) would traverse these lifeless grounds, a bag of peanuts in hand, pacing or skipping from tree to tree; together they would awaken this cadavorous place with the excited chuckles of chipmunks winding about the aged and veined Oaks in their search to find among the folds of blistered bark the secrectly hidden rewards.
Alexandre now lives in Pittsburgh where he serves coffee and performs with his band.
