Elle Thompson

I have been writing for ten years, I wrote for the local newspaper for two years, I have been published a couple times in the local library's poetry anthology and I have taken a number of classes in writing, with varying degrees of difficulty and at various stages of my life. I am not actively writing right now, so most of what is here is oldish (in the last three years I've been writing a lot about suicide, addiction and abuse, so if you read anything i have submitted here expect to see some of that.) I am most fond of my prose; poetry has always been kind of a venting thing for me. I don't think I'm very good at it.
I am interested in having a conversation about writing, and I don't bite. (although, I am a little cocky and, at times, brutally honest.)
feel free to request me to read stuff, I might get around to it. (Fair warning, I am a product of the Catholic school system and an English major and grammar errors really irk me.) Kindly RTF when you have time.
