I write under a pseudonym.
I don't do Read Requests, but you can PM me if you want me to read something specific. I make friends with people who I read and interact with. I won't accept random requests from people who haven't bothered to interact with me.
All of my poems are within books - they are listed as chapters within their specific categories. Most books contain 20-30 poems within a particular theme. Mature content is labelled, but none of my poems are particularly explicit. I have some short stories that are in the erotica category. None of the stories or essays are organised into books.
I have experience with editing and journalism, and have had some success with contests, essays, articles, and poems published. I am hoping to more seriously publish in the next few years.
I like to provide reviews that are honest and helpful, but don't tread on the author's creative choices, and hopefully you will do the same for me. I try to correct grammar and form, offer helpful suggestions, without interjecting my own personal preferences as far as style, etc. For example, I can appreciate a poem that is not the form I normally gravitate towards, if its content is good -- no need to say "I don't like this form" in the context of the review, unless the author has requested input in that regard.
Trolls and soap opera like drama, and inappropriate sexual advances via email etc. are quickly blocked, deleted, and rejected. If you are here for any other purpose other than sharing writing, opinions, and helpful insights, I won't entertain you for very long.
