In foggy eyes and misty trees,
She haunts my conscience, silently.
She rules our days with poison sands;
We’re building coffins..

Oh fly,
sweet Meadowlark, with dusk,
Into the
embrace of night.
For in thy
heart lies loneliness,
And in thy
shadows, loveliness.
Now ..

Didn't turn out like I had originally planned, but it works well enough.

We set this
world ablaze, we did;
In fire and
ash, we surfaced.
Yet in the
hour, Hell rose aflame,
The demons
danced upon the name
Of ..

The Serpentine Theatre arises
From the ashes, long forgotten;
Phoenix wing
curtains,
Lady Lune’s stage
light…

Our Day is dying, restless still
The Dusk cries out Child,
