About Me
The first poem I enjoyed writing was an assignment. "Write a poem about a junk drawer", he instructed. Since then I have learned to see the value of observing and capturing on paper that which others might see as commonplace - the usual, the mundane, the taken for granted, and the irony of it all!
Thus, I have turned my poetry collection into a kind of Junk Drawer. It is a place to collect my treasures and memories and, yes, even some junk. For the time being, this site can be the drawer. Just be careful with my fragile junk, please.
Dedicated to the delightful memories of my favorite teacher, Mr. Charles "Bud" Stock and my Dad, the best teacher I ever had.
