About Me

I'm a writer and a writer only, longing to be seen.

Let's establish this now: I am a girl.

Hate me today, hate me tomorrow...

I'm the type of person who finds beauty in broken things.

I love Evanescence. Amy Lee is my hero.

I love to write. I mainly write some pretty dark and sad stories, so I've been writing other genres to try to get me out of my shell. I have two novels that I'm juggling, one accomplishment that I've helped myself with.

Jodi Picoult is my favorite writer/author by far. The first book I read by her was "My Sister's Keeper." I remember being compelled by the topic, and finishing it within 24 hours. I remember bawling my eyes out and hating Kate's parents for not paying [enough] attention to Jesse and Anna, even though Kate was sick. I remember clawing at my head after I finished the book, the ending was devastating. Amazingly enough, the tears called me in for more, and I then read "Change of Heart." I value Jodi Picoult as a goddess because she makes you realize the importance of life, the value. Makes you glad that you don't have a cheating husband, or a husband at all. Picoult makes you glad that you don't have cancer, or serious heart problems. She calls you in every single damn time, and you have no choice but to go in for more. Her writing is sheer perfection. She ... is my writing goddess. My writing technique is a lot like hers, and I can't tell if they are too similar.

I love cheese. Cheddar, immensely. My Cheesus.

I have 11 birds. It feels weird not saying 12...

There is only one song that can make me cry: Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood. About 3 of my short stories are based on that song. Fantastic singer, that person is. I'm not usually a fan of country.

I do not read books that involve vampires. You can tip your hat to that freaking Stephenie Meyer. (I'm sorry for mentioning her name.)

I can play the guitar, and my favorite color is green.

Johnny Depp is the hottest man alive on this planet, and baby, age ain't stoppin' me.

I really fancy John Stamos. Uncle Jesse!! Love that show, miss it a lot these days, can't find the re-runs...

I loooove me some baby carrots!!

Adele is one of few my heroes. Like Amy Lee, she is teaching me that your waist doesn't have to be the size of a pea, that you don't have to follow the crowd to fit in. Adele gives me courage, a shelter that I gain from her.

My favorite song is "Rumor Has It" -- Adele.

Love that woman...

Bless your soul, you got your head in the clouds. You made a fool out of you and, boy, she's bringing you down. She made your heart melt, but you're cold to the core. But rumor has it she ain't got your love anymore.

I'm one of the few people who actually update this frequently, as I change into things that are good and bad.

One time, I got this fortune cookie: Time heals all wounds. Don't worry. It's getting better.

Coincidentally, at the time I was going through the roughest time of my entire life, I began to lose my grip on reality, and I started slipping up on showing people the fake me, the one who always was in control and smiling.
I never liked that: "Time heals all wounds." I thought that it wasn't true. At the time I thought, 'I've had all these wounds for years now, I highly doubt that they'll be healed when I'm 60.'
Well, no, that fortune cookie was a wake up call, and I got myself back together within months. I don't think I've ever been this good, I've never been this happy.

So thank you whoever made that fortune cookie : this one's for you.
