About Me

My Writing:
I am not a writer by education or by discipline. My poems are like dreams that become complete when given words. From the place beyond words they grow fingers and ask to be born. They tingle and knit together right between my eyes. I try to practice nonresistance and staying in the infinite now moment. My writing often reflects my ideas about dismantling identity and perception.

Yea, I've been writing a little again - off and on. Couldn't sleep last night and I've been meaning to check you out on here, so here I am. Just posted some rambling I wrote last night. Looking forward to reading more of your stuff soon!

Ah, well said, dear one. The never ending cycle of a*s in mouth. Where is the beginning? Where is the end? In the essence? In the potential? In the manisfestation? It's nowhere, dear, nowhere. Be here now.

Happy VD! ~ Christel

After a while ...
... you learn the subtle difference
Between holding a hand and chaining a soul,

And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning
And company doesn't mean security,

And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
And presents aren't promises

And you begin to accept your defeats
With your head up and your eyes open,

With the grace of a woman,
Not the grief of a child

And you learn to build all your roads on today,
Because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans
and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.

After awhile you learn that even sunshine
Burns if you get too much

So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
In stead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers

And you learn that you really can endure...
That you really are strong
And you really do have worth,
and you learn and learn...
With every good bye you learn.
