I've been writing since high school. I discovered that I loved poetry after reading The Raven from Edger Allen Poe. Later I discovered I loved writing after I wrote a poem. So I've been writing for 4 years. It's a great form of expression and release. I value it a lot.

When i write, it is to express myself, and i do use any structure on purpose while writing poetry. I never took any class that taught about structured poems. So i just let it flowww. I dont really want to purposly do structured poems really. Yes it will make it look neat, and nice, but I feel that it would limit me and what i am trying to convey to the reader. It's just a personal preference.
