Once surrounded by other writers and a growing library, I am now surrounded by moving boxes inside an old house that needs constant repair. I gave up my private home office and job as staff editor for a thriving niche newspaper in a Florida suburb to become a HANC in South Carolina.

I am Housekeeper, Activities director, Nutritionist and Companion for my aging and frail mother whose Alzheimer's mandates she have more constant assistance.

I'm still editing and writing for the newspaper and am growing my freelance editing clientele as well as building my blogs that are devoted to writing and caregiving.
