Tierra

My name is Tierra and I just turned 18. I began writing poetry at age 11 as a way of venting. Ever since I noticed my poems helping me release some negative feelings in a positive way, I started writing poems everyday. I have had a hard life but am sticking it out to help others. I want to help other children who have and still are being abused. I want to be the light in a child's eyes. Well, I hope you find my poetry...I don't know...helpful to help understand how some children feel. I haven't really shared my poems before except for to one of my best friends and on myspace. I would like comments so I can learn how to better my writing skills.
