I am a British person from Britain, but I never let that get in the way. I recently moved to Rome but was shocked to find out that nobody there speaks English and so I have moved back to London. Writing has always been a hobby and now that I work a soul-less 9-5 city desk job I figured it's important to have a creative outlet so that I don't go figuratively insane, or worse, content sitting at a desk forever. Were it not for my writing, in the words of John Cleese, "I probably would have stuck to my original plan to graduate and become a chartered accountant, perhaps a barrister lawyer, and gotten a nice house in the suburbs, with a nice wife and kids, and gotten a country club membership, and then I would have killed myself"
