Hey. I'm Rae. I got into writing when I was about 12. I mostly did poetry and used to write the silliest poems. I could write one about anything. But not too long after I started, I got writer's block and gave up on writing for a while. When I left home to spend a summer with my mother, all these words just flew out of me. And I was so happy that I'd regained my escape, yet bothered by the fact that my emotions were stirred so wildly by my mother. I can only write when I have a really strong feeling like depression or disappointment or extreme happiness. And those times are very scarce and I hate that, but I've learned to get over it and write as much as I can, when I can. I like writing poetry mostly and, occasionally I'll write a short story or two. And the short stories are easier to write than the poetry because I create the feelings in the stories myself. With poetry, it's all feeling and I can't express it very well without feeling it myself. I absolutely LOVE reading and if it weren't for public libraries I don't know where'd I'd be. I don't like buying books I haven't read, but I hate not having a new book to read right after I finish one. If you haven't caught me with a book in a while, it's probably best to keep your distance because I tend to get a little cranky. :) Stephenie Meyer (no surprise), Sarah Dessen and James Patterson are my favorite authors. I love the Maximum Ride series, and I shouldn't even have to mention the Twilight series. Anyway, I've typed way to much for this, so I'm going to stop now. :)
