In 2006 I became a member of this site, reluctantly at the request of a friend. I got caught up in the whirlwind drama of it, despite not wanting to. I met a lot of great people/artists here and my life will forever be changed. Good, bad, who knows? I come here now because I stopped writing regularly in 2011 and despite what some say, a hiatus from writing doesn't mean you aren't a writer. Sometimes it means you have real life happening in such a way that sitting down to write becomes impossible. Having writing communities online has always been a surefire way to get me motivated again. We'll see what happens.
