Watchful is a transplant of a sub-culture of black Americas urban areas (the ghetto) and middle class. After spending a small portion of his life wandering from job to job, he joined the military and saw the world. After three years of guarding nuclear storages site (where some bunkers had 3,ooo times the max dosage of radiation leaking from them) led him to have a career change to the navy, where he found that at least two branches of the military had its form of bullshit politics and games that the normal world has. The only difference is that going to work meant that the bottom line is you were committed to die if necessary.
Watchful has been writing poetry for two years, but finally got his groove in 2005.
Since that time he has written over 700 poems, and his first published works
Words He Has Given To ME Volume I which is out now.
Watchfuls poetry reflects the insanity of the world of love and relationships (both good and bad), religion and funny truths as only his mind can deliver with honest approaches from the heart.
