I’m Wandering Violet, a young Kiwi writer. I hope you enjoy reading my ramblings :-)

I’m a great believer in equality, and I hate discrimination in all forms. I'm lesbian and Christian, and I know what it's like to be discriminated against.

I take a keen interest in the Arts, in particular Opera, Theatre, Dance and films.

I love animals! One day I'm going to adopt a teacup piglet, sausage dog, three Siamese cats, a tank full of goldfish and a (baby!) rhinoceros.

My tastes in music are pretty wide, everything from Andrea Bocelli to Lady Gaga, Mozart to Gareth Farr, and Dmitri Hvorostovsky to Adam Lambert.

When I’m not writing, I'm reading, walking, listening to music, working - yes, I do occasionally work... in fact, bother, I probably should be right now!
