Brad, thank you for your review. I think you are right that retort style could put people off. It is always meant playfully and used sparingly. I think its cool to reply to a haiku with a haiku. But, your point is very valid.

Thanks for the comments on my piece, "The Power of Faith." It is what I call a "brain fart". It just pops into my head and won't leave until I write it down. Anyways, I write a column for my church's monthly paper... a version of this was featured. It could be interesting to use in a regular story. Hmmmm....
