I write a lot (prooooolly wouldn't be here if I didn't) though I find it hard to finish things, largely due to rising anxiety that what I write is never good enough and having no one to actually give me helpful critiques.
Most of what I write features queer characters and themes, but specific genres go out the window, with me constantly trying to push myself and write things I don't tend to write. My default is "How would a character with [this personality] do in [this situation]?" and going from there.
