I'm a fledgling author with dreams about as big as one of Robert Jordan's books. Maybe more than one on top of each other. I love writing fantasy and science fiction stories (No matter how long a piece is, I always call it a story. I've got a 56,000 word novel that I still call "my story"), with a web of ideas and plot points spun from a hundred thousand different threads of stories and books I've read over the past several years of my life. I never take enough to steal someone else's ideas. Just enough to pay homage to wonderful things. Kind of an inside joke between me and the book.
