I have been reading for as long as I can remember, all kinds of stories, but the ones that excited me most were new worlds or imaginings. Reading about distant lands, fantastical creatures and strange but wonderful people.
Eventually I worked up the courage to try writing myself, taking inspiration from my favourite authors like Jack Vance, William Morrison, Niel Gaiman, Patrick Rothfuss, Robert Jordan, JRR Tolkien, Peter Brett, KJ Parker and so many more.
