I'm a gamer, computer geek, amatuer game developer, sci/fi and fantasy nerd and writer, residing in Australia.

My pet hate is when people defend ideologies or beliefs as if they were uncontested facts, against the weight of evidence. Especially creationists and purveyors of pseudo-science.

My favourite authors are Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Jules Verne, Ian Irvine, Paul Stewart, JK Rowling, Dan Brown, George Orwell, Terry Pratchett, Christopher Paolini, Michael Stackpole, Harry Turtledove, JRR Tolkien, Garth Nix, Emily Rodda, Jack Heath and Matthew Reilly.

My favourite games are Left 4 Dead, Battlezone (1998), Starcraft, Worms World Party, Counter-Strike, Medal of Honour, Morrowind, Battlefield 2142, Ratchet and Clank, Legend of Zelda, Knights of the Old Repulic and all Pokemon games up to Crystal.
